About Alex: Welcome! I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) here at Relationship Therapy Centre. As a therapist, I want to learn about you. Let’s explore your past and present, teach me about your story! My goal as a therapist is to create a space where clients feel safe and comfortable. 1 aim to build relationships with clients and work with them to create tools they can use daily or when faced with challenging emotions or experiences.
About Therapy with Alex: As a clinician, I work from a client-centred approach. However, I do pull from other modalities to create an integrative approach. Some modalities include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Dialogic therapy, narrative, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. As a therapist, I do not believe a one-size-fits-all model exists. When working with my clients my hopes are to create a therapeutic plan that works for them is essential.
I aim to create a space for learning, sharing, and vulnerability when working with my clients. I know that therapy can be challenging at times; it can be hard to dig into experiences, emotions, and thoughts, but I believe in becoming uncomfortable allows for greater exploration and growth.
I look forward to learning about you and exploring the best ways to support you.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Bachelor of Arts in Youth and Child Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, minoring in Psychology and Indigenous Studies. I grew up in Mississauga but have been able to work and volunteer all over the GTA.
Throughout my work experience with children, I began to see the value of collaborative care; often, I was working with families and other resource supports to help the child succeed in the classroom. Being able to see how individualized and collaborative care can make such an impact is something I take with me into the therapeutic space.
Besides my passion for helping others, I enjoy going on hikes and working out at the gym. In addition, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones. I have two brothers with whom I am very close and always find myself going on adventures with them. My other hobbies include painting, reading, watching documentaries, and being in the garden.
About Therapy with Kalyna: Hello, my name is Kalyna. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I am devoted to supporting individuals at any stage in life to overcome challenges through evidence-based and client-centred frameworks.

Outside of therapy, I’m an avid concert goer, an iced latte enthusiast, a sushi lover, and consistent reader.
A quote I live by is that “when one door closes, another door opens”. It may not make sense right away, but it will in time.
About Tavneet: I hold experience in supporting individuals through relational concerns, mood and personality disorders, trauma, and life transitions.
I view therapy as a collaborative approach where we work together to best support you and the relationships in your life. While in individual therapy, you and I will be present in the room, we’ll create space to explore the relationships and connections outside of the room that influence and impact you. About Leslie: I am a first-generation Canadian, with my parents being Peruvian. I can conversationally speak Spanish (though I am a much better listener!) and regularly try to find ways to incorporate my Peruvian heritage into my life.
As many others, I hold many roles - I am a sister, daughter, aunt, niece, friend, and partner. I am also a researcher by day, therapist by night, and full-time advocate of mental health. My lifelong goal is to continuously find ways to incorporate social justice practices into my work as a therapist and in the broader social system by producing research that can support equitable health care. In my down time, I tend to my own mental health by journaling, drawing, doing origami, going for long walks in nature (or just sitting under a tree in silence), and spending lots of time with family and friends. I value creativity, curiosity, open-mindedness and authenticity.
About Therapy with Leslie: Life is a winding road with many twists and turns. Sometimes it can be difficult to decide which path to walk down, to explore the path less taken, or to muster up the courage to take the path we know is best for us.
On this journey, our strengths can become buried - like little gems in the sand, making them difficult to see and draw from. I understand my role as a gentle guide - someone to walk alongside you as you explore these paths and winding roads. In taking a strengths-based approach, I help you identify and brush off the (sometimes) buried strengths you have and find helpful ways of using them.
I believe that people are the expert of their lives, and it is my role to help people get curious about themselves by offering a non-judgemental, authentic, and warm space.
It would be a pleasure to walk alongside you in this journey.

About Keeshia: Hello and welcome! My name is Keeshia and I am a Registered Psychotherapist. Above all, I am a mother to a wonderful boy who reminds me every day of the importance of mindfulness and gratitude. We love to spend time in nature, go for walks and bike rides, find new books and activities, and watch our favourite Disney movies.
I am also a plant mom! I am spiritual and believe in the energetic connection between everything in our universe, from the plants and the animals, to us humans, to the stars in the sky.
I believe our journeys have a deep spiritual meaning and we are here to learn, grow, and evolve. I value kindness, authenticity, empathy, and vulnerability. I start every morning with a cup of tea, three things I am grateful for, and positive affirmations. I believe our minds are truly powerful and we can overcome any obstacle thrown our way; perspective is everything!
About Therapy with Keeshia: Hello and welcome! My name is a Keeshia and I am glad you’re here. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with individuals of varying ages. I love getting to know your story and how you came to be in your current reality. I hope to explore your past and present, and together we can identify what goals you would like to reach.
I believe there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to therapy, so by getting to know you, we will find the ways in which you are best supported. I know that opening up and being vulnerable can be anxiety-inducing, so I strive to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space so you feel comfortable sharing your journey with me. We will always go at your pace; after all, you are the expert!
I also believe it is a sign of true strength to take a step towards reflecting inwards, so self-compassion is something I always encourage. I believe in the power of mindfulness and will notice your indirect ways of communicating with me as well (i.e., your body language) and together we will identify what’s coming up for you.
We will make connections between experiences, relationships, roles, habits, thoughts, patterns, and behaviours, and identify how you envision your future self. My hope is for you to leave our sessions feeling encouraged, validated, hopeful, and empowered. I would be grateful to be a part of your journey and hope we can connect soon!
